RuDex Australia is equipped to perform a wide range of abrasive blasting operations in our purpose-built chamber at our Bunbury facility.

Abrasive grit blasting is used in a number of industrial applications, including:

• Removal of rust and paint from surfaces
• Preparation of surfaces for painting or bonding
• Roughening of surfaces prior to application of high performance coatings
• Providing a matte finish or surface texture to finished materials

A number of different media are used for abrasive blasting, including sand, glass beads, aluminium oxide, steel grit and even crushed glass, depending on the particular application and result required. RuDex Australia’s technical team will advise on the most appropriate methods in each case.
